Captain Craig Offret

Craig Offret was born and raised in Anchorage, Alaska. He enjoyed deck handing on offshore boats as a young person with great enthusiasm. Working hard to become a captain he obtained a USCG license at 21. Craig has worked on the water for more than 11 years between Ventura, Emeryville and San Francisco California in the winters, to Deep Creek, Kodiak, Sitka, Seward, and Homer in Alaska.

The King Salmon Fishery in the Bay Area California has taught Craig some of the finer points of King Salmon Trolling. Craig is working hard to make a consistent King Salmon sport fishery in South Central Alaska.

Craig loves every minute of every day fishing with passengers, he takes the role of a coach and focuses on the teamwork of the anglers in order to keep the fish around the boat. Craig loves saltwater fishing so much that on his days off he goes fishing for fun. It is truly what he was made to do.

This passion usually pays off, Craig will often stay out fishing until the job is done. His attitude is contagious and his influence is energetic.

Craig has pioneered some very cunning methods to keep the fish coming up, most of which are secret and when asked about them he will lay out a full dialogue of bologna that will have you in stitches.
